RTA | Permalink

I need to go to place about 15 blocks from my apartment. I am too lazy to drive, and with hot hazy afternoon, it's out of question for me to walk. I decided to ride RTA bus (Regional Transit Authority). It's comfy and fast. And cost me just $1.50, cheaper than cost of parking fee.

I Dreamt I Was a Dragon | Permalink

That is title of the sculpture. By local artist Irene M. Sukle. Location in 3126 St. Clair Ave. (Asia Food Market). When I was taking the picture, I had nice conversation with Katharyne (staff of SCSDC) While Katharyne was fixing something in sculpture, she explained about the sculpture and little bit information behind this project. I think she said there are 44 pig sculptures throughout the St Clair-Superior Ave area.
According to Chinese Calendar, started February is year of Pig. And St. Clair Superior Development Corporation (SCSDC) welcomes the 2007 Year of the Pig celebration to the St. Clair Superior neighborhood with a public art exhibition. All the pig are created by local artists. And to make each pig sculpture interesting, each artist created or inspired sculpture with their own interpretation and idea. The goal of this project is to promote investment in St. Clair Superior neighborhood, promote cultural awareness and support local artists. The exhibition will end by a week before Labor Day and off for auction.

Blimp | Permalink

It was the Goodyear's Blimp hovering in downtown Cleveland, exactly in Q Arena to cover NBA Final from sky. Blimp is tiny version of Zeppelin. In United States only have 3 blimps that operate. The Spirit of Goodyear, based in Akron, Ohio; the Spirit of America, based in Carson, California; and the Spirit of Innovation, in Pompano Beach, Florida. This tradition of Blimp in Ohio started in 1925 when Goodyear built its first helium-filled public relations airship, the Pilgrim.

Sweep | Permalink

Just about time for lunch, I watched this gent sweeps the street. With his bright yellow shirt, I don't think people not to see him while sweep out in the street. For some reason the bright yellow shirt is for safety reason, so drivers could spot him or other from distance while working in the street. I believe he is hired by city of Cleveland to keep this city clean.

LeBron James GuitarMania | Permalink

I dedicated this blog today for our basketball team Caveliers. This form guitar of oversize Fender Stratocaster are creatively transformed into works of arts by local artists in project name GuitarMania. This works of arts display on street of Cleveland, so anytime you come visit Cleveland, you will find these guitars in every corner of downtown Cleveland. I located one of LeBron James in corner of Lakeview Ave and E. 6 St in Mall of Civic Center in downtown Cleveland. it just amazing what effect LeBron James and team in Caveliers to have on this town. After what some people say history-making about last Thursday night game, we beat Detroit Piston and to play a Game 6 tonight in Cleveland. Tonight game will decide who going to be Eastern Conference winner. Trust me it is going to be pact and crowd about 75.000 people expected in downtown who ready to celebrating after game this Saturday night. It just remind me back to our first major sport since our baseball team Indians reached the World series in 1997. And start 2.00 PM and Sunday, there are ban parking in some street in Cleveland close to Quick Loans Arena.
