Church Chairs | Permalink

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral - this church is one of Cleveland designated landmark and built in 1901 thru 1907.

Interesting. Punishment. It reminds me that there are churches with chairs that look like they were taken out of the Sunday Parlor at home -- overstuffed delights. These, in contrast, don't seem to invite relaxation. I suppose the hard surface invites people to want to leap-up and shout Amen in a joyful chorus—tired and sore buttocks from hard chair seats. Nice photo. I like it in black and white too. I wonder what the significance if the clover is.
