No, I didn't shot this picture, I found it in discarded frame photo in the street and needs restoration. After little bit touching with photoshop, for moment there I thought this look like Prince or The Artist but not sure. Behind of the photo wrote name of Dennis. This might be Dennis or Prince, but let me know if you guys by any chance familiar with this photo.

Well my immediate thought was 'yes, for sure it's Prince.' Then I looked and looked and wonder if it couldn't be someone impersonating him. Maybe the photographer is called Dennis - certainly it's not Prince's real name. Maybe, there is someone called Dennis who looks like Prince. Anyway I like to think it's Prince and hopefully someone else will shed light on it.

Yes, it looks like Prince. His birthname is Roger Nelson so I don't think Dennis is connected to him. But the lettering on the sleeve looks like it is "south" so I wonder if he went to South High School in Minneapolis? Could be a staged high school production, or it could just be a striking similarity. Fun to guess. The black background makes the portrait more dramatic. Nice job!

I, too, thought it was Prince at first glance. Looking more closely makes me unsure. I pulled up some images of Prince in Google Images. The eyebrow line looks right but but the mouth looks too broad. That might be because he affects a pout so much of the time. The outfit does look like something he would wear.

Have you ever seen the movie Amélie? The plots starts with the title character looking around Paris for discarded pictures of people, particularly around photo booths in the Metro. You could start quite a collection this way.

Excellent post.
