What a great image. It hangs on the edge of abstraction but it shows physical objects we all understand. The formal composition in shades of gray with the orange leaf (a magnet to the eye) it brilliant.
My opinion may be different from most people's (hence my nickname), but I think this one of the best photos I've ever seen on CDPB. It is a prize winner. My only suggestion is that I would crop down the top just slightly. The strip where the color of the pavement gets lighter takes a little away from the power of the rest of the image.
