The black and white, which I love, somehow makes him look fierce yet usually they are teddy bears.
Yes, much more fierce than rambunctious. The high-contrast, low-res images emphasizes the effect. I must have been frightened by a dog when I was small. I've always been apprehensive of them and can't manage any affection for the species.
