It's the blue for me. So rich a and fluid and real deoth to the reflection of the buildings.

There is kind of a hyper-reality here with so much intense blue with small blasts of orange and yellow, surrounded by subtler green and red-brown. I wonder if you deliberately over-saturated the finished image. It's a real smack. Love the pidgeons.

To answer your question: I checked the EXIF data on my post today. F 16 (thus the DOF), 1/100th, ISO 200. It was shot handheld. I carry around a tripod and monopod in the trunk of my car but only use them occasionally (for example, my posts of June 11 and June 17). My tripod is carbon fiber and lightweight but it's a bit of a pain to set it up, get the camera screwed in, find the remote cable release in the bottom of my camera bag and so forth. Maybe I'm just a bit lazy.
