I suppose they are gathered there owing to some warm effect from the water.
Nice shot.
Love it. The blues of lake and sky with those bluey posts and then the orange feet and beaks that somehow pick up the brown posts. Super photo.
I am always impressed by the way the gulls like to line up on parade. Sometimes they even shuffles up to let in a new arrival.
