I like the harshness of this photo, it is very eye catching.
A higher ISO and ditching the flash would have been more appropriate. The high ISO would have let in the light you desperately needed, and the bit of grain would have added drama.
PS-check out my photoblog. I'm also a Cleveland resident, and there's a few Lake Erie photos.
