My 100th Post - Chicago Watertaxi | Permalink

Yay, I made it to my 100th post. Personally, I am glad that I made it to my 100th post. And not missed a day in my blog. In the other hand my daily photo really have consumed my spare time. Everyday I am thinking what should I post the next day. I know probably some of you feel the same way. I can see in the coming season that I might jitter while the weather change to winter. And taking a picture in freezing temperature is not my favorite time of a day. Anyway, I took this picture from West Wacker Drive in Chicago River from my 1 day tripped to Chicago yesterday. This city is beautiful, with so many places to visit and opportunity to photo. And in downtown Chicago itself many people going to work by bicycle. So it is pretty common to see this bicycles in every poles that standing in streets of Chicago where people chained it up. I wish I had more time in Chicago.

Pigeons and piece of bagel | Permalink

I found these pigeons in corner E. 9 St and Superior Ave. Pigeons were fed with piece of bagel by a homeless who basically lives in this corner every day during summer. While I was taking this pictures, he asked me why I took picture of those pigeons. I told him I've never seen pigeon ate bagel before. Then he told me not to take picture of him. I said ok, no problem. So at the end he asked me for spare of change, I gave him a dollar before we parted. City of Cleveland have tried many times to make ordinace prohibiting panhandling and them approaching people in downtown. But for specific details, I don't quite follow it. Anyway, back to this pigeons. My other posted about pigeon you check right here.

Thought. | Permalink

Sometime I like to capture people with their body languages. When the person is upset, bored, tired or happy. Not only their facial expression will tell that, but gesture in hands, arm, and body unconsciously tell about mood of the person. I know some cultures in another part of world have own signs or gestures that look the same to each others but could be totally different meaning in other country.

Well, I guess if you want to take you child on stroll and hassle-free, baby leash is your answer. If your baby tries to pull away, just give the leash a little tug. I don't know exactly if I am right to describe it, but I guess that how it works, right?

Undeveloped Film | Permalink

I found an old kodak Tri-X undevelop in my old camera bag last night. I think this is from last 2 or 3 years ago. With little D76 developer Solution and Kodak fixer did the trick.

I think this couple in picture are in Edgewater Park. And looks from condition of the beach, it might be early of march or early spring, when snow just melted but the dirt were still hard and solid from cold weather.

I rarely shot with B&W film anymore since I use digital camera in past 2 years. I'll dig somewhere else around apartment, I hope to find some undevelop films just for the sake of inquisitiveness. Happy weekend to you all!

Cleveland Orchestra's Star-Spangled Spectacular Concert | Permalink

An annual tradition city of Cleveland since 1990 for celebration of Independence Day, the Public Square concert right in front of Tower City, attracts up to 80,000 people to downtown Cleveland and ends with a display of fireworks.

This year's Public Square Concert under the direction of Franz Welser-Möst begins at 9PM and included works by Bernstein, Gershwin, Prokofiev and Leroy Anderson, as well as the perennial favorite, Tchaikovsky’s “1812” Overture, followed by a fireworks display. But too bad firework display was cancel due to wind conditions. It was wonderful night after all.
