I have seen many small creatures death along side of road. It just so sad to see this peril creatures got no chance to see another season. I saw 2 of Skunks in just one day already crushed in the middle of road few days ago. If just we give them our pedal to brake while driving, it might saves some of them.

I agree, human lives are precious, but we mustnt treat other forms of life badly.
Not only the squirrel but the babies are somewhere without one parent. It is sad.

Ouch--touch to see! On a recent driving trip across Wisconsin which has a high deer population, I saw 6 bodies of deer along the side of the highway. Yes, we all need to be careful.
How sad. I use to have a pet skunk, so I really hate to see those along the side of the road. Your photo with the pavement looks detailed.
Glad I could give you a laugh with the photo of the rakes I posted.
