This has the same feel as the photo of the people wading out into the lake: a wide, almost empty setting with one or two very small people. One might be tempted to read something into that. ;) Very expressive image.
It's really enjoyable to see the work day after day of someone who has a strong individual style.
This reminds me of the film "Blowup," the scene in the park where the photographer watches a couple wander over the grass and into the woods.
Lovely picture! The b&w is a great choice.

Bibi metioned one of my all time favourite British 60's films, strangely about a photographer. This could be straight from that scene. Superb photograpahy.

First, my apologies for a bit of cut and paste commenting. I have been doing the rounds via Bloglines and looking at all the pictures from my favourite photo blogs, but haven’t been leaving comments. Generally, I try to comment as much as I can (I know how good it is for ‘morale’ to know that someone is out there appreciating them), but after the birth of my second son, I am a bit knackered to think up something witty and insightful on the hop. Thus the resort to Control+C and Control+P!

I just moved to Cleveland myself (Parma Heights)a month ago, and have been shooting photos like a madman. What an urban canvas, this town is! I'm definitely going to spend some quality time sifting through your photo archives.

This photo is very blah. Aren't black and white photos supposed to be black and white, not black and grey. This needs a contrast boost asap! Nice composition though.

Yes, indeed! A scene from "Blow-up", as Bibi was first to remark! (What a powerful bookmark is that film!) It is also my first impression. Very beautiful / strong imagine, with that calm & permanent noise of leaves (I see it through the eyes of the Antonioni spectator)! Congratulations for the photographer!
I have went through your archives, and looked at every single post you ever made. And time and time again there is only one thing that comes to mind. And that is you have shared the beauty of my city with the world. Cleveland is the city I grew up in, and to this day it is my favorite city in the United States. A lot of people look down on the “Mistake on the lake” But frankly it’s the imperfections of the city that make it perfect. You have a wonderful eye for finding the little things in your Photos, and a lot of them show the hidden beauty of the city and the lake. Wonderful work I look forward to many more posts.

maybe it's just me, but this photo has a sinister feel to it, like I wonder what this guy is doing, walking with what seems to be some type of purpose toward those trees...but, then again, I am from L.A., he's probably going to take a nap, and due to my Southern California paranoia, I think he's up to no good, lol!

I moved away from Cleveland over two years ago and the one thing I miss the most, the one thing that I crave with my whole self, is the Lake. I know exactly where you took this photo, I walked past there millions of times, and this photo made it so real for me, that for a second...no more like a few minutes...I was still there.

This is a call to everyone to please step outside the right vs. left paradigm. I invite you to watch this video, which details how this is currently taking place. While it focuses on our current officials' cooperation with these plans, it steps out of the typical political paradigm by highlighting the cooperation of both parties. Please do not look to politicians to protect us. Only we can protect us. And our first step must be to reach out to police and military. Without their cooperation, the global elite won't have the muscle to exercise their will of oppression. Please share this oath-keepers blog with them.
